Yes. The chargers installed under this project will be Type 2 AC Charger that are compatible with most of current and future EVs in market. The time duration of charging will vary for other EVs depending on the battery size and charging capacities.

We are installing AC Type 2 fast Charger that takes 6-8 hours for charging MG ZS EV from 0 to 100%

The chargers will be installed under Captive usage. That means they will be available to use for all the residents and the visitors of the society authorized by the respective RWAs.

Information about the chargers can be accessed using the Charger management system app provided by MG authorized partner and RWA. Residents and guests can download that app to discover and access the chargers and pay per use.

Post completion of the update, the system will auto-generate a success message on the screen.

It is required to keep the engine in start position and possibly in static condition in good network strength are to ensure seamless/uninterrupted update. If vehicle is moving it may have intermediate network strength and update process may get interrupt or may take more time.

Auto-download can impact the experience of other applications which would be in use at that point. Hence, customers are given control to download the updates as per their convenience.  

Please follow these steps to install the updates:

Go to settings -> Upgrade -> Update

Individual notifications won’t be shared/available, however company will release periodic SMS notifications and emailers to check the vehicle to stay tuned. The update will be rolled out to the customers in a phased manner, as per plan.

In case the download is interrupted

If the engine is stopped while the download is in process, the user will have to resume the same by clicking on the “update” tab under settings.  In case the download is interrupted because of network issues, the system will resume download on its own.

In case installation is interrupted

Post the download, the updates cannot be interrupted manually by the user. Even if the Ignition is switched off, the updates will continue to run in the background. In case, the ignition is switched-off, User has to resume the operation for upgradation. 

In a bad/ no network zone, the download process will pause and will resume automatically once there is proper network. The download progress will not be impacted and will resume from the last point of update.

During installation, network strength variation will not impact the installation progress.

This is a highly unlikely scenario as the software installation is thoroughly tested before it is released to the customer. However, in case if such a situation arises, Please Reboot the Head unit by long pressing the centre button. Shut down the car completely and step-out the car. Lock & Unlock the car once and then sitting inside the vehicle try once again to resume the operation. The customer should contact/visit the nearest dealer.

A student pursuing graduation or post-graduation (MBA) shall be eligible to participate in this program

Once shortlisted for the program, you will be asked to submit internship recommendation letter from college authority, education certificates etc. A complete list of required documents will be sent to selected candidates over emal

Yes, you will be awarded a certificate from MG Motor India on successful completion of the program

No, having work experience is not mandatory to enrol for MG Nurture program

While having a computer/tab will be a plus, a smartphone should be sufficient. In case you do not have either, a desk at the MG Dealership of your city can be provided for fixed hours to complete your project work 

The program will enhance your prospects of employability in the Auto Industry. The program doesn’t guarantee any employment with MG Motor India or MG Dealerships.

Candidates will be required to devote approximately 20 hours per week towards the MG Nurture Program

Interns shall receive a monthly stipend as per below details:

• Pursuing Graduation -   Rs/- 15,000 per month 

• Pursuing Post Graduation – Rs/- 20000 per month  

MG India follows a flexible approach. If there is any work required to be done at field, you can also do it over weekends 

MG Motor India will contribute 50% or Rs. 5 lac (whichever is less) towards your 2 year post graduate education/MBA if you are selected for the same! MG Motor India’s decision in this regard will be considered as final.
